Our mission is to strengthen the economic growth of Lathrup Village by providing networking opportunities, advocacy, and resources for entrepreneurs and professionals. Our Story
For decades, Lathrup Village has been a hidden gem in Michigan—a city with strong neighborhoods, unique businesses, and a proud history of independence. But one thing was always missing: a Chamber of Commerce. Unlike many surrounding communities, Lathrup Village never had an organized business network to connect entrepreneurs, advocate for local shops, and create a unified voice for economic growth. Businesses worked hard on their own, but the city lacked a central hub to bring everyone together. That all changed in 2025. For the first time in our city’s history, the Lathrup Village Chamber of Commerce was formed. More than just a business association, it represents a milestone in our community’s growth. The Chamber is here to give local businesses the support they deserve—through networking, promotion, collaboration, and advocacy. It’s a place where business owners can share ideas, build partnerships, and strengthen the local economy while preserving the unique character of our city. The creation of the Chamber marks a new chapter for Lathrup Village: one where our businesses are no longer working in isolation, but side by side, shaping a stronger future together.
